Notes on Gift Aid Declaration
1. In order for a tax reclaim to be made it is necessary to prove what payments have been received. In order to do this, any payments which you make must be made by cheque OR banker’s standing
  order.
2. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the Trust Administrator in writing.
3. You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that The Bonar Trust reclaims on your donations in the tax year (currently 25p for each £1 that you give).
4. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains greater or equal to that The Bonar Trust reclaims, you can cancel your declaration (see Note 2).
5. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.
6. Please notify The Bonar Trust if you change your name or address.
7. The Bonar Trust collects and uses the data on this form to claim Gift Aid, send communications about our work based on your personal preferences. We will never trade or sell your personal information to third parties.
