Guidelines
1. The registration form and documentation should be provided at least 48 hours prior to the Nikah date.

2. The Nikah will only be conducted once it has been authorised by the Masjid committee, suitable time/date and based on the Imams availability.

3. Correct spellings and details should be provided as this information will be input into the Nikah certificate.

4. Fee for the Nikah is £150 and this should be paid before or on the day of the Nikah. Any additional gift for the Imam and the Masjid should be given separately.

5. If there any changes to the Vakeel or Witnesses, the Masjid should be informed 48 hours prior to the Nikah. If there are any changes after this period, the Masjid will not conduct the Nikah.

6. Any Bride or Groom who does not have legal status in the UK, the Nikah will not be conducted by the Masjid.

7. The Nikah by the Masjid can only be conducted in the East London area. Any Nikah outside of the Masjid, the arrangement of the pickup and drop off of the Imam should be done by the Groom or Bride at their cost.

8. Mehr should be paid prior to the Nikah.

9. If the Nikah is the 2nd Nikah for either the Groom or Bride, then proof of divorce should be provided. If not, the Nikah will not be conducted.

10. If you require the Imam to be the Vakeel then please let the Masjid know beforehand.

11. Certificate of Nikah will be provided on the day or after the Nikah has taken place.
