Membership Type*

Individual Member Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. A member receives a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account.

£295.00 for each year

Family Member Membership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Both members receive a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Both members are deemed to reside at the same address.

£450.00 for each year

Overseas MemberMembership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Members receive a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Overseas members are deemed to reside outside of the UK.

£400.00 for each year

Crew MemberMembership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Member receives 5% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Crew membership has no voting rights and is only available to new members who are actively crewing on a RTYC boat. This membership must be proposed and seconded by both the RCS & RCC where appropriate. It is not possible to move from a full member to a crew member.

£75.00 for each year

Full member under 35 years of age As per Individual member but aged under 35 years on the 1st October on the year of joining.

Interim Member - 1 year onlyMembership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. An interim member receive a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Interim membership is intended for applicants that are not known to existing members and applicants will be requested to attend an interview rather than being proposed and seconded by existing members.

Joint Interim Member - 1 year onlyMembership is valid between 1st October and 30th September each year. Both interim members receive a 15% discount off all drinks purchases if funds are loaded onto their gold card account. Interim membership is intended for applicants that are not known to existing members and applicants will be requested to attend an interview rather than being proposed and seconded by existing members. Both members are deemed to reside at the same address.

NOTE: Attention is called to the Club Rule 6. Candidates for any category except Interim, Crew or Summer membership shall be Proposed and Seconded by a Full Member of at least one year’s standing and should have been acquainted with the applicant for at least two years, letters of support to be attached to this application then sent to the Honorary Secretary. A candidate may be invited to meet members of a Committee and be introduced by the Proposer.

The applicant(s) understand that the Secretary of the RTYC may make any appropriate enquiries and will obtain references in support of this application and that the applicants may be required to attend for interview, together with their Proposer, by the membership committee prior to their application being considered by the General Committee.
