Our Residential
As a Support Worker in our Residential Homes, you will provide care and support to the individuals with learning disabilities that live in one of our Ryde-based homes. You will assist them with accessing community and social activities, providing support at school or college and providing support with general day to day living.
We have a variety of Ryde based homes, each with their own atmosphere and support requirements. To read about each individual home, please visit our website. Where possible, we aim to match our Support Workers hobbies and strengths with the hobbies and needs of our Service Users.
Previous experience is not required for these roles, as full training will be provided.
A driving license is not required for all positions.
What it's like to work in our Outreach Department...
Our Outreach department focuses on providing care and support to both children and adults out in the community and within their own homes.
This means that our staff will work across locations on the Isle of Wight, usually on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
Having recently achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating from CQC, the Outreach department is a fantastic place to work!
As a Community Support Worker you will provide care and support to individuals with a variety of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions; assisting them with accessing community and social activities, providing support at school or college and providing support with day-to-day living.
Work patterns are based on a minimum of 3-hour shifts. Our full time contracts average to 37.5 hours per week. Mileage costs are included. Travel time between calls is included.
Due to the nature of the role, a full, clean driving license is preferred.
Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided.
