OWNERSHIP RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITES
The Photographer will document the events in a candid manner and take formal portrait and group shots as indicated on the wedding checklist as filled out by the clients. The Photographer and the Clients agree that unless stated otherwise in this document, the Photographer owns any and all copy or reproduction rights.
The Clients agree that the Photographer may use any photograph/image for publicity & advertising purposes to promote Jennifer Amy Photography, this may include publication on the Photographer’s websites.
The Clients agree to not reproduce or copy any proof or other photographs of the event, taken by the Photographer, without the Photographer’s written permission. Re-printing of purchased images for non-commercial use is allowed.
To reserve your chosen date, the Photographer requires a deposit payment of £250, the Photographer will not hold any date open without receipt of said payment. Said payment is non-refundable for any reason, except if the Photographer cancels this contract themselves.
50% of the total package balance is due 180 days before the wedding date, 100% due 90 days prior to the wedding date.
Any additional time booked or verbally agreed on the date of the wedding which is not included in the schedule of your chosen package will be charged at £100.00 per hour.
After a period of 14 days from the date of signing this contract, as compensation for loss of income to the Photographer the following charges apply as a percentage of the total fee due.
90 days or less before the wedding – 100%, 180 days before the wedding – 50%.
Should the said wedding be a postponement, then, subject to availability, all money paid may be applied to the new wedding date. You should liase with your photographer to find a suitable new date.
If the photographer is not available on your new date you will be offered a trusted replacement photographer in their place and Jennifer Amy Photography will cover final editing and album creation.
If Jennifer Amy Photography cannot find a replacement photographer you will be offered a refund of all monies paid.
If the Photographer has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness etc.) and they cannot find you a replacement photographer their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
Upon booking the photographer for full day of wedding photography (cotton, lace, silk, cashmere or any full day package) the photographer requests that a one meal and soft drinks be provided on the day of the wedding. (per photographer booked)
If booking a package including a wedding album- wedding album images must be chosen within 3 months after the wedding date or may be subject to any supplier price increases.
Once a package has been chosen and filled in on the contract, clients may upgrade their packages at any time prior to the wedding but cannot downgrade.
The Photographer agrees that every effort will be made to provide high quality photographic services. In the unlikely event that a human error or catastrophic mechanical failure should occur to the Photographer’s equipment or transport and the Photographer is unable to provide the Clients with the agreed upon photography services and/or products, the Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
The Photographer has full Public Liability.
