OWNERSHIP RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITES
The Photographer will document the events in a candid manner and take formal portrait and group shots as indicated on the wedding checklist as filled out by the clients. The Photographer and the Clients agree that unless stated otherwise in this document, the Photographer owns any and all copy or reproduction rights.
The Clients agree that the Photographer may use any photograph/image for publicity & advertising purposes to promote Jennifer Amy Photography, this may include publication on the Photographer’s website, clients must inform Jennifer Amy Photography if they are unhappy with this.
The Clients agree to not reproduce or copy any proof or other photographs of the event, taken by the Photographer, without the Photographer’s written permission unless it is for noncommercial use.
Clients agree that when purchasing a collection including a wedding album, their final images must be chosen within 3 months after their wedding has taken place. Failure to do so will leave the couple open to price increases.
To reserve your chosen date, the Photographer requires a deposit payment of £250, the Photographer will not hold any date open without receipt of said payment. Said payment is nonrefundable for any reason, except if the Photographer cancels this contract.
50% payment of overall total must be recieved 6 months (168 days) before the wedding date and the final payment of the balance must be paid 3 months (84 days) before the wedding date.
Failure to do so may result in the clients wedding date made available to other couples. Any additional time booked or verbally agreed on the date of the wedding which is not included in the schedule of your chosen package will be charged at £100.00 per hour.
If the Photographer has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness etc.) their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. After a period of 14 days from the date of signing this contract, as compensation for loss of income to the Photographer the following charges apply as a percentage of the total fee due.
84 days or less before the wedding= 100%, 168-85 days before the wedding= 50%
In the event of the Photographer taking another wedding booking on your cancelled date a full unconditional refund of your deposit and monies paid will be made.
Should the said wedding be a postponement, then, subject to availability, all money paid may be applied to the new wedding date.
Clients are able to postpone once for free, after this a new deposit must be paid again for a new date.
If said wedding is a postponement, cancellation charges will line up with the original wedding date/contract and NOT the new date/contract.
If for any reason the main photographer cannot make your rescheduled date, a replacement photographer of the same skill will be supplied, and Jennifer Amy Photography will continue to do your editing and album making where applicable.
Upon booking the photographer for full day of wedding photography (cotton, linen, lace, silk and cashmere) the photographer requests that a one meal and soft drinks be provided on the day of the wedding per photographer attending.
The Photographer agrees that every effort will be made to provide high quality photographic services. In the unlikely event that a human error or catastrophic mechanical failure should occur to the Photographer’s equipment or transport and the Photographer is unable to provide the Clients with the agreed upon photography services and/or products, the Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
The Photographer has full Public Liability.
