Terms and Conditions
Deposits

1.        A deposit of £100 and a completed booking form is required to confirm bookings.

2.        The deposit will be retained if the bar takings are less than £750.

3.        A fee of £30.00 payable to the local council will be applicable if the license application is refused.

4.        CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL NOT PROVIDED BY WEST END BAR HIRE
(a) At the event guests are required to purchase their drinks from the bar provided by the Company and no additional drinks are permitted at the venue. This is a licensing condition for which West End Bar Hire retain responsibility. We reserve the right to confiscate unauthorised drinks.

(b) Arrival drinks arranged by the organiser are permitted providing they are for consumption during the pre-meal period. West End Bar Hire requests that they are informed of this before the event.
(c) Table wine and all other table drinks including drinks for toasting arranged by the organiser are permitted providing they are for consumption during the meal only. Once the meal has finished, we request that all table drinks are then removed. West End Bar Hire requests that they are informed of this before the event.
If any alcohol is found at the venue except that provided by West End then the deposit will be forfeited

5. Payment for any damage or losses caused to any equipment or stock belonging to West End by persons attending the function will be deducted from the deposit.

Cancellation Fees

1.        If the event is cancelled for any reason other than COVID-19 your deposit is forfeited.

2.        If you need to rearrange a date your deposit will be transferred to the new date.

3.        COVID-19 – If weddings are not permitted due to Covid we will refund 80% of your deposit if you wish to cancel. If weddings are restricted to limited numbers and you wish to cancel, we are still able to offer our service at an additional cost and therefore your deposit will be forfeited
General Conditions

4.        If West End Bar Hire is unable to fulfil its obligations for whatever reason, we shall not be liable for any compensation. In such case the deposit will be returned in full.

5. West End Bar Hire is responsible for the sale of all intoxicating liquor and that they are bound by the UK Licensing Act.

6. West End Bar Hire, and their staff have the right to close the bar or refuse service to any person at any time.

7.        The organiser will inform all persons attending that ID may be required in order to purchase alcohol.

8.        The organiser will ensure that the maximum number of people attending does not exceed that stated on this form.

9.        The organiser agrees to provide adequate supervision for persons attending the event.

10.     The organiser is responsible for ensuring all Fire, Health and Safety or other necessary regulations have been checked and complied with for the function and venue.

11.     Any damage caused at the venue will be the responsibility of the organiser. Damage to any equipment belonging to West End Bar Hire will be paid for in full by the organiser.

12.     Any outstanding amount due to West End Bar Hire needs to be paid and cleared no less than 7 days before the event.

13.     Payment of the Temporary Events Notice will be invoiced to the organiser 4-6 weeks before the event. This will need to be paid to West End Bar Hire on receipt.

14.     Any penalties incurred due to false information being provided by the organiser will be paid in full by the organiser. West End Bar Hire will not be held responsible for any breach of the Licensing Act 2003 due to organiser’s negligence.

15.     The organiser shall ensure that all persons providing services at the venue are properly licensed.

16.     The organiser is responsible for insuring all risks at the venue or event.

17. West End Bar Hire has cover for Public Liability and Employers Liability.

18.     The organiser shall provide power and water/ washing up area to West End Bar Hire at the venue unless otherwise agreed.

19.     The organiser will provide sufficient shelter for the bar if wanting it to stand outside. Size of area required Full Bar 3mtr x 3mtr.
