1. Warranty to us
.1. By confirming that you wish to book a MiniCab through this website or mobile application(s), the customer agrees to pay the full cost of the quoted journey, and agrees to the terms and conditions set out below.
.2. It is important that the customer reads through the terms and conditions carefully.
.3. Knights MiniCabs reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and the customer is advised to review the terms and conditions regularly, to ensure that the customer is are up to date with any changes.
2. Requesting a booking
.1. All Bookings and Quotes is a set price.
.2. When requesting a booking, the booking is not confirmed until the customer or booking agent receives an email or Whatsapp confirmation which will contain the booking information.
.3. It is the customer's or booking agent's responsibility to ensure that the booking details are entered correctly.
.4. It is the customer's or booking agent's responsibility to ensure that adequate time to travel to the destination or drop-off address has been allocated.
.5. Knights MiniCabs will not be held liable for any errors made when entering your booking details.
.6. The information needed to confirm your booking is as follows:
.1. Full name of the lead passenger.
.2. Best contact number.
.3. Pick-up postcode or Airport & Terminal.
.4. Drop-off postcode or Airport & Terminal.
.5. Door number or flat number.
.6. Number of people travelling, to ensure we provide the correct vehicle.
.7. Number of check-in bags, & carry on bags, to ensure we provide the correct vehicle.
.8. Ages of children to ensure we provide the correct car seat.
.9. Flight number for an Airport Pick-up.
.10. A price increase of 20% will come into effect on the 24th December, 25th December, 26th December, 31st December and 1st January due to driver shortages and driver demands.
11. The TfL Licenced Operator, known as EcoGreen Transport Solutions Ltd, Trading as Knights MiniCabs, shall enter into a contractual obligation as the Principal, with the person (also known as the Customer) making the private hire booking, and to provide the journey which is the subject of the booking.
.12. The Booking may only be confirmed when the Customer contacts the Knights MiniCabs Office to make the booking, and the booking is only valid when the Knights MiniCabs Office confirms the Booking.
.13. At no time may the Customer give any Booking details to the Driver as this Booking will not be valid or confirmed.
3. Planning a journey
.1. It is the customer's or booking agent's responsibility to plan the journey accurately, allowing sufficient time to reach the destination or drop-off address, particularly when checking-in for a flight, catching a train, or arriving in time for a scheduled appointment.
.2. Knights MiniCabs will not be held accountable for any delays which may occur during your journey.
4. Cancelling a booking
.1. Knights MiniCabs reserves the right to cancel a booking, whether or not payment has been received, and given that there is a reasonable amount of time, by giving notice of non-acceptance over the telephone, via email or Whatsapp.
.2. Knights MiniCabs reserves the right to cancel a booking when the flight is delayed by more than 2 hours and waiting for the delayed flight may impact a follow on transfer/ job.
.3. To cancel a confirmed booking, either telephone one of our friendly operators, send us an email requesting the cancellation, or send us a Whatsapp message to cancel the booking.
.4. Confirmed bookings may be cancelled up to four hours before the confirmed pick up time.
5. Residential Pick-up waiting times
.1. The price quoted at the time of booking includes up to 15 minutes free waiting time.
.2. When no contact is made between the customer and the driver after 15 minutes of the confirmed pick-up time, the driver will be at liberty to cancel the booking.
.3. When the customer anticipates being delayed greater than 15 minutes, please contact your driver directly or the Knights MiniCabs office at the contact number provided in the confirmation email.
.4. Waiting times greater than 15 minutes may incur additional charges, which may be charged at the driver's discretion, at £3 per five (5) additional minutes, and must be paid in cash, or added to the confirmed price, at the end of the journey, to the driver.
6. Airport parking, Parking charges and waiting time
1. The driver will park his vehicle in the Airport parking structure and meet the customer at the designated Pick-point after your flight has landed.
.2. The price quoted at the time of booking includes waiting time of up to 60 minutes, from the time of your flight landing.
.3. Additional waiting time fees will apply after 60 minutes, and may be charged at the driver's discretion, at £3 per five (5) additional minutes, and must be paid in cash, or added to the confirmed price, at the end of the journey, to the driver.
.4. Car park Charges and additional Car park Charges will be charged on the day and must be paid in cash, or added to the confirmed price, at the end of the journey, to the driver.
.5. We monitor all flights and will adjust the arrival time of the driver, at the Pick-up Point.
.6. Please note that we charge an extra £25.00 when requested to travel via the M25.The Driver Arrival at the designated Pick-point is clearly added in the confirmation.
7. Set Pick-up Time
.1. When a set Pick-up time is requested, 30 minutes free waiting time is provided from the requested Pick-up time..
.2. Extra Waiting time may incur additional charges, which may be charged at the driver's discretion, at £3 per five (5) additional minutes, and must be paid in cash, or added to the confirmed price, at the end of the journey, to the driver.
.3. Car park Charges and additional Car park Charges will be charged on the day and must be paid in cash, or added to the confirmed price, at the end of the journey, to the driver.
13. Liability
Knights MiniCabs will not be held liable for any acts, errors, breaches, negligence, omissions, representations, as well as personal injuries, death, property damage, or any other damages or expenses.
14. Indemnity
By accepting a booking, you hereby indemnify us, together with its officers, agents, sub-contractors, subsidiaries and employees, and hold them harmless against all loss, damage, demands, legal and professional expenses, costs, and liabilities, caused by the Driver, carrying out your journey.
