Prompt/Story:
Pick 1 prompt or question and share your #HumansOfSGP story!
What inspired you to become a feminist or focus on gender issues in your work?
Share a story of an obstacle or challenge you had to overcome in your life. What was the challenge, and how did you move forward?
Tell us about someone who inspires you to work for a better world. Who is this person and what is your relationship to them? (Make sure you ask for their permission to share information about them!)
Where were you born and raised? How did this place (or these places) shape your path as a feminist and gender professional?
Was there a moment you first realized you were treated differently because of sex, gender, race, sexual orientation...? What was the incident? How old were you? How did the experience make you feel?
Share details about a professional or activist milestone or achievement. Have you witnessed historical moments? (For example, election of a feminist mayor, decriminilization of abortion, same-sex marriage legislation, etc.) How did you experience the moment (whether you were actively involved or as a witness)?
[Optional] Space for any other relevant information you’d like us to know, or questions you want to ask. This will not be part of the post.
We hope you have carefully considered the content you are sharing and are comfortable with this information being posted publicly online. If a safety situation arises that requires you to remove your posting from the SGP Instagram account, please contact info@genderprofessionals.org immediately. You can also contact humansofsgp@gmail.com if you have any questions or comments specific to this campaign. Thank you for your interest in participating in #HumansOfSGP!
