Culture of Solidarity | The role of Arts&Culture for a Just Transition in Europe
26 January 10am - 12am CET
Submit this form and join our online session to know more about Just Transition and meet potential partners for the Culture of Solidarity Fund!
With this second info event we will address key aspects of why and how the artistic and cultural sector plays a pivotal role in promoting integrated environmental sustainability. Just Transition is in fact more and more becoming a vision-led, unifying and place-based set of principles, processes, and practices of European Union strategies and needs all relevant stakeholders from civic or public organizations and professional communities - especially from the creative field - to make a collective effort in the same direction: making Europe a greener and environmentally conscious place for all.
During our second online gathering European cultural, social and environmental organizations interested in the Just Transition debate will get an idea about the still undervalued role of culture in (regional) transformation processes to a more sustainable future.Participants will have the chance not only to gain insights from policy analysis and practical experiences on the topic from relevant European institutions, EU network representatives and creative practitioners, but will also receive tangible advice on how they can use the Culture of Solidarity Fund as a co-financing opportunity to partner and experiment with culture-led interregional projects that focus on Just Transition.
