Please outline your preferences for volunteering, as well as any additional information that Moral Fairground may need to know.

  • Volunteer Code of Conduct

    • As a volunteer of the Programs and Festivals, you are representing Moral Fairground and its values. You are required to behave respectfully at all times.
    • You must check with your assigned coordinator typically 15 minutes before the commencement of each of your shifts. Report to your assigned section on time and go directly to your coordinator. Each coordinator may be wearing a badge with their name and the section they represent.
    • You must commit to working your assigned shifts and must not leave your area without being replaced or being excused by your coordinators.
    • No illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages or smoking of any kind are allowed on festival grounds. You may consume alcoholic beverages at specific events (such as networking events) but only if permitted to do so.
    • Lost and found items are to be taken to an information booth.
    • Lost children should be taken to security staff or to the volunteer coordinator.
    • In the event of an emergency, immediately notify the volunteer coordinator and appropriate authorities, and assist them to take appropriate action. Do not be a hero, as you may endanger yourself, and the livelihood of others by your actions.
    • Be helpful and friendly to all event attendees. If someone comes to you with a question, please try to do the best to answer it, or if you are not able to assist, refer them to your coordinator. Engage event attendees in a polite, courteous, friendly manner.
    • Make sure you take plenty of water throughout festival days. Water will be made available for volunteers.
    • Fulfilling your volunteer duties aside, make the most of being involved in our events by learning, participating and having fun! :-)
