New contacts not being automatically added to Mailchimp.

    Dear Jotform Support,

    I am experiencing an issue with the integration between Jotform and Mailchimp.
    New contacts are not being automatically added to Mailchimp when my form is submitted. Additionally, the option to enable the creation of new contacts does not appear at the bottom of the integration settings (see attached screenshot).

    Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue?

    Ik ondervind een probleem met de integratie tussen Jotform en Mailchimp. Nieuwe contacten worden niet automatisch aangemaakt in Mailchimp wanneer mijn formulier wordt ingevuld. Bovendien lijkt de optie om nieuwe contacten aan te maken niet zichtbaar te zijn onderaan de integratie-instellingen (zie bijgevoegde screenshot).

    Kunt u mij aangeven waar ik deze fout kan oplossen?

    Hi Frank,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I checked your integration, I didn't see that you chose a List. Did the List perhaps get deleted or changed in Mailchimp? Can you update your integration and see if that makes a difference?

    If you want to be sure, you can try removing the integration and adding it back again to refresh the configuration. Here's how to remove the integration:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. On the left panel, click on Integrations.
    3. Then, select Mailchimp and click on Remove Integration.

    Now, add in back your integration and set it up just like you did at first:

    1. In the same window, select the Mailchimp integration and authenticate your account.
    2. Now, configure the integration.
    3. When you're done, click on Complete Integration.

    And that's it. You also mentioned there's no option to enable the creation of new contacts. The integration itself is the one adding in new contacts. You can also check our guide on Mailchimp Integration to learn more about this.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

    It seems the integration is partially working, as existing contacts are being updated, but new ones are not being added. I’ve already re-entered all the information in Jotform, but this hasn’t resolved the issue.

    This issue has never occurred with any of my other forms, where the integration has always worked seamlessly.

    Could you advise where I should focus to address this problem? Should I investigate the settings in Jotform, or could this be an issue on Mailchimp’s side?

    Hi Frank,

    Have you already removed the integration before re-entering all information to refresh the configuration? Try doing that if you haven't done it yet. When I did this on my form, I was able to send my data over to Mailchimp so there's no current issue with the Mailchimp integration in Jotform. You can try checking your Mailchimp settings if there's anything that has been changed. I also went ahead and cleared the form cache to fix any possible cache issues in the form.
