How to add a form to your Canva design

To get started, open your chosen design in Canva.

Click Apps in the navigation pane at the left of your screen, and enter “Jotform” in the search bar.

Click the Jotform app, then click Open.

The app interface will open. It has two main tabs: Templates and Your forms.

In Templates, you can search through over 10,000 free form templates. When you’ve found one you like, hover over it and click Use Template to add it to your design.

You can also use the toggle icon to filter your forms by layout, categories, and languages.

The Your forms tab lets you add the forms you’ve already saved in your Jotform account with just a click.

First, you need to connect your Jotform account. Click Your forms. Choose Start for free to create a new Jotform account, or click Log in if you already have one.

Click Connect. A window will open asking for access to your Jotform account. Click Allow to grant permission.

Once you’ve connected your account, you can view your existing forms in the Your forms tab in Canva. Select one of your forms to add it to your Canva design.

From Your forms, you can also create a new form in Jotform’s Form Builder by clicking Create new form. Or you can quickly visit your Jotform homepage by clicking Go to Jotform.

Pro Tip

If you’re a Canva user trying out Jotform for the first time, we encourage you to sign up for a free Jotform account so you can save your custom forms — just go to the Your forms tab and click Start for free. Saving your forms allows you to collect, manage, and analyze the data that comes in. After all, gathering data is only as useful as what you do with it. 😏

How to edit and preview your forms

To edit one of your forms, in Your forms, hover over the form you’d like to edit and click the pencil icon. You’ll be redirected to Jotform’s Form Builder, where you can make your desired edits. Edits to the form are automatically saved and will be reflected in your Canva design.

To preview your form, click your form inside the Canva design and then click the URL that appears.

How to manage your forms

Any form submissions you receive via your Canva designs will automatically be stored in your Jotform account, where they’re easy to access and manage.

You can use Jotform Tables to view form submissions in a collaborative database. You can also manage submissions in Jotform Inbox, which allows you to quickly reply to form respondents, tag and comment on submissions, share submissions, and more.
