Method 1: From scratch
Creating a registration form from scratch allows you to build exactly what you need. Here’s how to get started:
- Go to the My Forms page on Jotform.
- Click on the Create Form button.
- Select the Start From Scratch option on the Create a Form menu.
- Choose a Classic Form or Card Form, depending on your needs.
- Update the title of your registration form.
- Click the Add Element button on the left side of the Form Builder to open the Form Elements menu.
- Drag and drop the elements you want to include in your registration form.
- Update the design of your registration form by clicking on the blue Form Designer button on the right-hand side.
- Once your form is complete, open your Canva account and the relevant project.
- Click the Apps button on the left of your Canva design screen.
- Search for Jotform and click the Jotform icon to open the application window.
- Click the Open button to begin the application connection process.
- Once the app is open, click on the Your forms tab and click Log in to begin connecting your account.
- Allow Jotform access to your Canva account by clicking the Connect button.
- After you’ve allowed Canva access to your Jotform account, click the form you want to add to your Canva project.
Method 2: From a template
If making a form from scratch sounds time-consuming, consider starting off with a template instead.
- Open the Jotform registration form templates page.
- Identify the form you’d like to use and click the Use Template button to open the Form Builder.
- Add any form elements or make design changes in the Form Builder.
- After completing your form, open your website in your Canva account.
- Click the Apps button on the left of your Canva design screen.
- Search for Jotform and click the Jotform icon to open the application window.
- Click the Open button to begin the application connection process.
- Once the app is open, click on the Your forms tab and click Log in to connect your account.
- Allow Jotform access to your Canva account by clicking the Connect button.
- Once you’ve allowed Canva access to your Jotform account, click the form you want to add to your Canva project.
As you can see on the image above, if you’d rather start this process on Canva, you can also start a new form by clicking the Create new form button when you’ve opened the Jotform application.
