Thank you for being one of our more than two million users! We’ve continued to focus on making Jotform the leading online form creator. As we’ve gotten requests from our users, we’ve developed new features and integrations to make Jotform an even better experience. As always, our goal is to continue to improve our product and ensure it is easy to use. At the end of the day, we want to give our users the most powerful form-building features to help your business.
Beginning September 19, 2016, Jotform’s Starter and Guest plan will limit the number of active forms users can maintain in an account. The Starter and Guest plans are now limited to five forms.
Current Starter and Guest users are grandfathered and will not see any change to their accounts as long as no new forms are created, enabled, cloned or restored. Starter and Guess users will continue to have access to existing forms and data. Jotform will not delete anything from your account. This means you can continue using your forms as usual. However, if there is a need to increase the number of active forms, Starter and Guest users will need to upgrade to an appropriate plan.
We know change is never easy. However, we’re asking our users who get the most value from Jotform to help us so we can continue to make great products and, in return, help you reap the benefits that come from using great products.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our 24/7 support team.

Not pleased with the direction this is heading, I am actively seeking a different form building service.

Totally unacceptable. I've been a paying customer for years and I've taken on the chin all limits to views and submissions enforced, but this is a step too far. I'm now going to move my forms to another business. Greed will ruin you.

I like to use Jotform to prototype customer request. So why not to set 5 active form as a starter plan, and leave unlimited form to use for prototyping or ideas creation. I think Jotform just trying to manage a disk space or maybe I am wrong.

Jotform really sucks now, after spending a whole day trying to fix what used to be already rather hard to integrate with Xara, not a single one of my forms works any longer. Support is also a joke. Ok, I must concede it used to work in the past. Another one that says good bye. Good luck with a doomed company like this!

I wonder what genius came up with this plan, they will be responsible for killing a great company and service, I predict that Jotform will lose at least 50% of their current business and even more future business. WTF, there are so many other ways to add a form to a website without relying on this BS company.
Not happy that yet another once great company gets greedy and F@cks up something that was very useful...More than a year ago
Hello dear Jonathan,
thank you for your reply by mail.As a loving jotform user I would kindly send my humble response.
I am a webdesigner and love to use your service for my simple form needs for some of my clients.
It is brilliant, easy, comfortable and does way more than I need.
Why not leave this thing as it is and let us small users continue for a small annual fee with unlimited forms. (maybe 39US)
Besides that serve all the poweruser out there your stunning new discoveries and charge them business prices for a business service while your old jotform becomes your happy cashcow and lives unchanged and unaltered till the end of days. ^^
Have a very happy day. Yours Mark

Sorry to hear this JotForm. It's really a disservice to users - especially new users. We selected you to as our first forms app primarily because of the unlimited usage - we are doing that to try to figure out new & better ways to communicate with our clients, transmit data, etc. We have been creating a bunch of different pay forms to test the best functionality for our products and services with different merchant providers. Unfortunately this has led to alot of duplication. We won't be able to continue doing this with the fees. And, the time we have invested is now a complete waste. Allowing a 14-day grace period is not enough. Seeing how we are neighbors in SF, it migh be useful to have an in-person meeting so you can fully understand before we switch providers.

I agree with everyone else. I've been a loyal customer for years and have even had plenty of customers sign on with their own account. But this is just ridiculous changing with this form of notification. I don't have the time to read your blog posts, so imagine my shock to receive an email informing me that I can't make anymore forms unless I pay. Firstly you limit my stored submissions, and now the amount of forms I can have. Unfortunately I'm with everyone else, time to start looking elsewhere. It's a shame really. I think your team could have worked better with existing customers to work on a better solution. :(

I'll be switching to another company. Even if I still have to pay, it's worth it to me to not support a company like this.

This isn't cool. I've had JotForms for YEARS and now you tell me I cannot use my forms anymore. I will not be able to use your service anymore if you are not loyal to your current customers.

So I can use any existing forms and they can also be edited and then re-used - is that correct?
I rarely create new forms - I usually just edit existing ones - presumably I will still be able to do this as before so the changes won't affect me?

This sucks.... so many other providers have unlimited forms... I guess I will be moving my forms... You should charge based on entries, not on how many forms you have....

This is not a kind way to force users. At least existing forms should be running fine.

While I understand your need to make money, forcing me to pay on a monthly basis is s bad idea. I make three or forms a year and do not want to pay every month when I am not using JotForm.
It seems to me that there should be an option to pay a separate fee for those of us who use Jotform on a limited basis. Paying for all the months that I don't use Jotform does not seem fair to me.

Totally unacceptable. The rates are far too high and the quota is far too low, and with virtually no warning. I'm going to find a better offer, and I am sure it won't be hard, nor that I will be the only one. Good luck running your business into the ground.

I think this is very bad and also very cosomour unfriendly! First you have one kind of pricing so your users can use and get use to use your product in a certain way, then you suddenly change the pricing and the base for the pricing with only 14 days notice, thus forcing your users to pay you more. I could not have run my business that way! This is - in my opinion - not a good and honest way to handle your users...

How do I have 117 forms as stated in your email?
More than a year ago
For the current form, will I be able to make any edits and republish?
More than a year ago
Does the figure include forms located in Archive & Trash?
We appreciate the need to charge but at current figures we are suddenly going to have to pay over $1000 a year!
Thanks

If I'm not moving my account, my forms are retained or will not work?
