Anfrage zur Funktion in der Kartenumfrage

    Hallo,

    Hi Alexander,

Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, Jotform currently doesn't have a single field you can have an image and an input box under it. It can be accomplished with two fields, like in the screenshot you provided, by adding an Image field and adding a Number or another input field under it.

But, you can use the Annotate Picture widget instead. This widget allows your form fillers to draw or add text elements directly on the image you uploaded in the widget.

Anfrage zur Funktion in der Kartenumfrage Image 1 Screenshot 20 I created a Demo Form for the Annotate Image Widget, using the image you provided. Feel free to clone it and see how it works for yourself. You can see this guide about How to Clone an Existing Form From a URL for help.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Dear Jotform Support Team,

I urgently need a way to configure my forms so that customers can make selections through simple clicks, which I can then capture via Webhook. Based on these inputs, I generate automated configurations with CAD drawings.

I have already attempted to implement this using custom scripts or by embedding it via HTML, but unfortunately, Jotform blocks the images.

Would it be possible to develop a custom solution that allows me to combine both image display and direct user input? A seamless and user-friendly implementation is crucial to ensure an intuitive experience for my customers.

I would appreciate your feedback and any possible solutions.

    Hi Alexander,

Can you explain a bit further what you mean by Jotform blocking the images? If you can you take a screenshot of it and send it here, we'll have a better idea of what's going on. We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.

As for the development of a custom solution, we can open a feature request on your behalf, but exactly when or if it's developed will depend on the workload of our developers, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. This means that it may not be available anytime soon.

But since you want to implement it on your form immediately, you can modify your form by adding your custom functionalities. You can achieve this by downloading your form's Full Source code, edit it, and then embedding it in your own website. Unfortunately, helping with the source code is beyond our scope of support. With that said, since using the source code is for users who would like to customize the form further, they are responsible for maintaining it and solving the custom coding. What we can suggest is that you hire and consult with a developer, on the partner's page or via Fiverr, to help you with the custom coding.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi [Support Team],

I understand that feature requests are processed based on priority and availability. However, it would be extremely helpful for me if a corresponding widget could be developed. I would also be willing to offer a tip for the additional effort if that helps facilitate the process.

Additionally, I am planning to migrate all my websites to Jotform using Webhooks, which makes this enhancement even more relevant for me.

    Best regards,

    Alexander

    Hi Alexander,

Unfortunately, offering tips will not help because as mentioned in my previous reply, it depends on how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If you want immediate solution, you can check our tutorial for Creating Custom Widgets. Regardless, I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
