    Hallo :)

    Patrick

    Hi Patricks83,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, it's really easy to change the colors of the Short Text fields in your form, using Advanced Designer. I've cloned your form and added three Short Text fields to create an example. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Paint Roller icon on the right side of the page to open Form Designer.

    2. Under the Colors tab, click on Advanced Designer.

    3. On the next page, in the menu on the right, click on the CSS tab.

    4. On your form, scroll down to select an element you want to adjust and double-click on it.

    5. Then, click on Color at the top of the menu under the CSS tab on the right side of the page.

    6. Click on the color you want to use and click on Select, and the necessary CSS code will be automatically written.

    7. In the menu on the left, click on the Disk icon to save your changes.

    Here's how it looks:

Also, I told you to double-click on the element you want to design because when you click once, all the elements in the same class you clicked on are selected. So, in order to select a specific element/unit instead of a whole class, you need to double-click on it. You can check out this guide to learn more about Advanced Designer.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Patrick,

Unfortunately, our German support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

As for your question, I was able to check your form and I was able to identify that the  first code you inputted   is missing a } on the very end of the code causing a conflict  on your CSS code. Just add the } on on the very end of your first code and the colors should take effect. Check the screenshot below: verschiedene Farben kurzer Text? Image 1 Screenshot 30

Check the results on the screencast below: after you correct the first code and closed it with a }:
