How to Sort dates in Configurable List widget?

Ist es möglich im Widget Configurable List die eingegebenen Werte im Frontend zu sortieren?

Oder gibt es ein Widget, dass das ermöglicht?

In the configurable list I would like to have two date fields (date from / date to) and then three textareas . This list fields should then be sorted by date either automatically or manually.

Thanks for getting back to us. You can easily set up a configurable list with the requirement you have sent. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on +Add Form Element.
2. Under the Widget Tab search for Configurable List and Drag it on the form.
3. Set up fields in the Fields Configuration as provided below:

Date From : dateInput : m/d/y
Short Text: text
Short Text: text
Short Text: text
Date To: dateInput : m/d/y
Short Text: text
Short Text: text
Short Text: text

Once you have this setup, you will able to enter the date and short text in the widget.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Yes - thank you - that's great.
But my question was, if it is possible to sort the entries by date later?
F.E the customer fills the Configurable List but with mixed dates. 1.: 2023 - 2.: 2017 - 3.: 2020
Now I want to sort the entries, so that 2.: 2017 is in the end of the list.
Is that possible?

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, it is not possible to sort the dates automatically. They will manually need to be added in the correct order. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team.
