Limiting Selections in Form Field

Buenas tardes, nosotros tenemos un formulario elaborado donde las gente se puede inscribir a una serie de actividades. Queríamos saber si hay alguna forma de limitar las inscripciones por ejemplo a 5 actividades, de forma que un usuario no pueda inscribirse por ejemplo a 7 actividades que hay en el formulario.

Now, coming back to your question, if I understood your concern correctly, you would like to have a limit of selection in the activity field? For example, the user can only select up to 5 activities at the same time. If so, you can use Multiple Choice fields and set a limit for the entries. Let me show you how to do it with the cloned version of your form:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.

2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down to Multiple Choice, and drag and drop a Multiple Choice element to your form.

3. Click on the Gear icon right beside the Multiple Choice element.

4. Click on the Options tab, delete the current options, and paste the activity list.

5. Click on the Surveying tab and set the entry minimum limit to 1 and maximum limit to 5.

Hola de nuevo, necesitamos que la elección sea una, no una elección múltiple, pero que la persona que se inscribe no realice más de 5 inscripciones.

Que haga una inscripción, luego otra y así hasta un máximo de 5 actividades, pero necesito poner un máximo de 5 inscripciones.

No puedo hacerlo con elección múltiple por el reparto de plazas en las actividades.

To clarify, do you mean you want to limit the same person from submitting the form more than 5 times? If so, that's possible. Currently, you can only limit form fillers up to one submission, using the unique submission or unique field feature.

But if that's not what you're trying to do, let us know and provide more details, so we can raise this to our Developers as a feature request, if it's not feasible.

Hola de nuevo, no es eso lo que quiero decir, lo que quiero decir, es que la persona que se inscribe, no elija las 5 actividades en una selección múltiple de una vez al entrar al formulario, si no que haga 5 inscripciones por separado, entrando 5 veces al formulario, pero no más de 5. No sé si ustedes me han entendido.

Gracias por la aclaración. Desafortunadamente, no existe una manera de lograr esto por el momento. Ya que no se puede comparar los datos previamente ingresados por un usuario en específico al realizarse un nuevo envío. La única alternativa sería la recomendada por mi colega Ariel para impedir más de 5 actividades en un mismo envío.
