Bonjour,

Hi mathieudubroca,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, Jotform will not delete your submission unless you decided to delete it. For additional check, you can also ensure that Auto-Deletion setting wasn't turned on in your form, let me show you how to check it:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top orange navigation bar.
- Click on Show More Option.
- Scroll down to find Auto-Delete Form Submissions.
- If Auto-Delete Form Submissions option is turn on, a Disable button will appear.
- Click on Disable to turn it off.
Additionally, you can also automatically sync your submissions to Google Sheet, so you have a backup copy of your submission. Let me show you how to sync your form with Google Sheet:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top orange navigation bar.
- Click on Integrations at the left sidebar.
- Click on Google Sheet.
- Click on dropdown to select your account, or Use another account if you haven't connected or wanted to connect to a different account.
- Follow the wizard to authenticate your account.
- Then, click on Create a new spreadsheet.
- You can adjust configuration according to your need, then click on Save.
- And you are good to go.
Let us know if you need more help.

Hello Jessica,
Thanks for the reply and explanations, but my question was more on the global Jotform side. Can I be sure that my data will always be accessible and not lost with you?
Without any particular action on my part, I just want to know if the data will always be available on your site and what to do in the event of a server or connection failure on your side.
Thanks for your help,
-

Hi Mathieu,
The submission data you'll collect will always be available on the Submission table. As what my colleague Jessica mentioned above, as long as you don't delete it permanently on your end, the data will be safe. You can check out this page to learn more about Jotform's security.
Also, you can follow my colleague's suggestion to Integrate your form with Google Sheets as a back-up for your collected data. Or you can always Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
