    Bonjour,

    Meilleures salutations.

    Hello Eric,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Hello Eric,

The Section Collapse element lets you group form fields, divide your form into expandable parts, and hide or show sections of your form. Let's see how it is done:

    1. In the Form Builder, insert a Section Collapse element at the beginning of your field set.
    2. Select the Section Collapse’s gear icon to open properties.
    3. In the properties panel, select Visible under Section Visibility.

Here are the available Section Collapse visibility options:

    • Section Visibility: Lets you choose whether the section and its contents are hidden (collapsed) or visible (expanded) by default when the form loads.
    • Button Visibility: Allows you to hide or show the button or bar used to toggle the section's visibility on the form.

A Section Collapse includes all the form elements that come after it, except for another Section Collapse. If you only want to show or hide some form fields conditionally, you can follow our support guide on how to Hide or Show Multiple Fields Conditionally.

As for your other question, I have created a new ticket for it and sent you the answer here, just to avoid any confusion.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Hello,

Thank you for your feedback, but that wasn't my request.

My form is used to inventory containers on construction sites.

I never know how many containers I'm going to have, so there's a part of my form that can be repeated as many times as I like.

I'd like to use this part as many times as I like.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Eric,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to automatically duplicate in a form an arbitrary field or a part of the form. The only workaround I see would be to create has many conditions as a maximum number of fields. As for instance, if you need up to a maximum of 100 Take photo elements, you'll need to create 99 conditions to show the next element when the last element is filled. Let me show you how to do it.

    1. In Form Builder, in the left panel, go to the Widgets tab.
    2. Add as many Take Photo widget as the maximum needed.Formulaires et photos récurrentes Image 1 Screenshot 70
    3. Then, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    4. In the left panel, select Conditions.
    5. Click on + Add condition.Formulaires et photos récurrentes Image 2 Screenshot 81
    6. Select Show/Hide field.Formulaires et photos récurrentes Image 3 Screenshot 92
    7. Set the condition as shown below.
    8. Click on Save.Formulaires et photos récurrentes Image 4 Screenshot 103

    The condition being:

Then, repeat steps 3 to 8 to define all other conditions showing the next Take Photo widget if the previous one is filled. As a result, with got: Formulaires et photos récurrentes Image 6 Screenshot 125
