Hi Robert,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.
Now, getting back to your question, if it's possible to move to another question without any answers on the skipped field that is required. Yes, it is very possible. If you want to disable a required field based on the answers, yes you can. But, if you want to disable the Submit button, you also can use a condition. However, this feature is only available in a card form. Unfortunately, it isn't available in our classic form. Let me show you how to do that:
- In form Builder, go to Settings from the top.
- Click Conditions from the left navigation, and then select Enable/Require/Mask Field.
- Then set up a condition like the image below, and then click Save at the bottom.
See the screencast below:
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Hi Robert,
Sure, you can make questions required fields that prevent submitters from moving on to the next question without providing an answer. Let me show you how:
- In your Form Builder, click on the gear icon to edit the settings for your form element.
- In the menu on the right side of the page, go to Required and toggle the setting on.
The submitter will be unable to proceed without filling out a required response and given a warning, as shown in my screencast below:
If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain what you would like to happen a bit more so I can help you better?
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
