    Bonjour,

Est-ce que Jotform prend pas en charge directement la méthode postMessage pour pré-remplir les champs via un message extérieur ?

    Merci

    Hi arnorossi140,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, if you want to prepopulate a form using POST method, unfortunately, we have no option for that at this time. But, you can send a submission using Jotform API endpoint. Here is an example:

    curl -X PUT -d '[{"1":{"text":"answer of Question 1"},"2":{"text":"answer of Question 2"}},{"1":{"text":"answer of Question 1"},"2":{"text":"answer of Question 2"}}]' "https://api.jotform.com/form/{formID}/submissions?apiKey={apiKey}"

You can also check out our Jotform API page to learn more about this feature. As an alternative, you can also try exploring Jotform Prefill to prefill your forms for your users. We have a guide on What Is Jotform Prefill and How Does It Work that you can check. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Thanks for your answer. Using the API would be great but unfortunately I don not have a tech background so it might be a bit complicated for me to implement this method... I use bubble to create my application so i think that i will just make sure to create a personalized url for each user which will carry the information i want to prefill (email address actually). Then I will use a workflow to check that the user has not change the url every time the jotform page is loaded.

    Hi arnorossi140,

Can you explain to us further about the bubble that you create on your application so we can check? If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that'll help us to understand better what’s going on. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Support Forum:

    1. On the Support Forum page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.
