    Hi Francis,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, are you talking about this form? If yes, I believe you are talking about the Submission ID showing in its Thank You page. This corresponds to the ID generated by our system as the basis for a submission made to your form. Think of it as the submission's reference ID or number. Once a form user submits your form, they'll be routed to the form's Thank You page, indicating that the submission was successful, along with other details you can put in it, like the submission ID. It will be shown to them as reference to the submission, which they can copy and use it if they have questions about their submission, so you can easily search it from the form's Tables, which is also accessible there.

I can also see it in the same section, indicated in the Thank You Page's Redirect to an external link after submission feature. In it, it'll be used as well as their reference number, as it is a dynamic field that is typically used to display unique identifiers for each submission. This ID often changes with as it corresponds to a specific new submission you receive. It allows you to track and reference individual submissions individually.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
