Suppose you need to keep after-submission events like form conditions, email alerts, integrations, and workflows from triggering when updating submissions on your form. In that case, you can edit the entries directly in Jotform Tables.
To edit submissions
- In Jotform Tables, choose a cell and enter your desired value.
- Click outside the cell or select Enter on your keyboard when finished.
To trigger after-submission events when editing or updating submissions on your form, see entry editing.

Does this method trigger or not the workflow?
....
Alternatively, you can view the submission and edit entries in the View window.

I have edited a column on my spreadsheet, but when I exit/refresh my window the edits are gone. Am I doing something wrong? I am also not the creator of the form. Is that why? It will allow me to edit, but it will not save.

Question about "edit column Preferences" I have two columns, number format, currency dollar. Payment 1 and payment two. then I have another column Total Payment, that has a fomula to adds it together. How do I edit that column to show currency? Edit column preferences doesn't show up on the menu. and it doesn't allow me to summarize the column by totalling it.
