You can use a Short Text element in your Stripe payment form and send it to Stripe as custom data in the payment information. This allows you to capture and utilize specific information from your form fillers according to your needs.
To include custom data in Stripe payments
- In the Form Builder, connect your Stripe account. See How to Integrate Stripe With Jotform for more information.
- Choose your desired Payment Type.
- Open Additional Gateway Settings.
- Turn on Ask Billing Information to Customer.
- Under Custom Data Field, choose a Short Text element to send to Stripe.
- Set up the rest of the options if needed, then save your settings.

The custom data field is only available when the payment type is "sell products".
When the payment is "sell subscriptions", the custom data field is no longer availble.
We really need this feature to be done.
