You can control how talkative or concise your AI Agent is to match your needs. Adjust the Chattiness level for Chat and Voice channels separately — keep responses brief and to the point, or make them more conversational. This helps create the right balance for user engagement across different platforms.
Adjusting the Chattiness of the Chat
Adjusting the Chattiness of the Chat is easy. Let’s do it:
- In Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Train.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on AI Persona.
- Then, scroll down and select the Chat tab in the Conversation Style window.
- Now, click on or adjust your Chat Response Length from the following choices:
- Minimalist — Quick, direct answers with only the essential information, keeping responses short and to the point (10–50 characters).
- Short — Brief, clear replies that provide enough detail to answer the question without extra elaboration (50–100 characters).
- Long — Detailed responses with added context, offering thorough information to ensure that users understand fully (100–250 characters).
- Chatty — Engaging, conversational responses with in-depth explanations, extra context, and a friendly tone to ensure users feel well-supported (250+ characters).
Adjusting the Chattiness of the Voice
You can also easily adjust the chattiness of your AI Agent Voice. Here’s how:
- In Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Train.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on AI Persona.
- Then, scroll down and select the Voice tab in the Conversation Style window.
- Now, click on or adjust your Chat Response Length from the following choices:

Any changes made in the AI Persona section of the AI Agent Builder are saved automatically and will immediately appear in the AI Agent’s behavior and responses.
