Jotform Apps allows you to create mobile apps without coding. You can build apps with Jotform App Builder to store all of your forms in one place and easily share them with others.
Building Your App
There are several ways to start the process of creating an app. You can begin from My Forms, My Apps, Form Builder, or Apps Templates Page.
Creating App From My Forms Page
After you log in to your account, you are redirected to the My Forms page, where all your forms are listed. Use these steps to build an app with your selected forms included automatically:
- In My Forms, click on your form to select it.
- Then, click on the Apps button at the top.
- In the menu, click on the Create New App button.
The same option is available in the form’s More menu. To access, hover your mouse over your form and click on the More button on the right. In the menu, select Create App under the Publish column.
To add multiple forms at once to the app you are creating, select them or check the boxes to their left, then click on the Create New App button at the top.
Pro Tip
Hold the Shift key to select or deselect multiple consecutive forms.
Creating App From My Apps Page
To go to the My Apps page from the My Forms page, click on the Downward Arrow icon next to the Jotform logo on the upper left corner of the page and select My Apps in the menu.
The My Apps page is where all your apps are listed. Here you will have the option to create your app from scratch. Various options like viewing, editing, deleting, renaming, and sharing your apps are also available here. To begin creating a new app, follow these steps:
- In My Apps, click on the Create App button on the left side of the page.
- In the Create App screen, choose between Start From Scratch, Use Template, Build Store, and Clone Existing App.
Here’s what each create app option does:
- Start From Scratch — Select this option to create an app without any pre-added elements, giving you full control to build it from the ground up.
- Use Template — Choose this option to create a new app using a template from the App Templates page, all without leaving the My Apps page.
- Build Store — Use this option to create a store app for collecting orders. The app will start with a pre-added Product List element to get you started.
- Clone Existing App — Select this option to duplicate an existing app in your account.
Creating App From Form Builder
After you create or edit your form, follow these steps to create your app and start with the form you are currently updating:
- In Form Builder, click on Publish.
- Next, click on the Create App button at the bottom.
Creating App From Apps Templates Page
Choose from over 800 templates on the Apps Templates page to get started on your app. These templates make it easy to create your app with ready-made layouts and features for different purposes.
Search for a template or use the sort and filter options on the left side of the page to find the one you want to use quickly. To learn more, check out How to Use App Templates.
Whichever way you choose to start creating your app, you’ll be redirected to the App Builder, where you can begin customizing it with elements and widgets. For more details, see How to Add New Elements in Jotform Apps.
Publishing and Embedding Your App
Once you’re done customizing your app, you can share it by sending the link to others, inviting someone to download and fill out the form via email, or sharing it on social media. You can also download the QR code for easy access. For more details, see How to Share Jotform Apps.
You can also embed your app into your website using an iframe or by using our free plug-in for WordPress. For more information, see How to Embed Your App Into a Website With Jotform Apps.

I don't see my Jotform Apps at all on the mobile Jotform app on my phone. I only see the Jotform Apps. Is this normal?

Hi, I like the look of creating an app from the bottom of a published form but my question is, how can I add additional forms to that "app" so to speak.
I would like to have a visible menu with the forms identified that users can select from. Is this possible?
Thanks for your great support!

Another question: when I send a link or QR code or whatever to someone to install my app. Does it create an icon on their phone etc? Or does it open a browser window like Safari and they would have to manually "add to home screen" to make it look like an app or does the Jotform created app provide an easy way to do so? Thanks again

This web sit more helpful to produce the best request form but it needs to add some information like, amount, logo, equipment name, quantity, date starts, and finishing date. Otherwiese I can suggest that this websit is fine and produce accurate business request forms.

If I want to make changes to the app after it's already been saved on someone else's ipad, will the app automatically update on that person's ipad? Or will they have to re-download the app every time changes are made?
