White labeling your Jotform AI Agents with a custom domain strengthens your brand and builds user trust. It enhances credibility and ensures a seamless experience, making your AI agent feel like a natural extension of your organization.
To white label your AI Agent, you’ll need the following things:
- Domain Name — Register your desired domain name through a domain registrar like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Domain.com. For more information, check our guide about How to register a domain name.
- Subdomain — The entire setup requires a subdomain. This means that you’ll need to decide what subdomain to use. In most organizations, it’s “forms“. So, if your domain name is example.com, you can use forms.example.com for white labeling.
- Jotform Enterprise account — Contact the Enterprise Sales team to learn how to upgrade your account to Jotform Enterprise.
Adding a CNAME Record
Your company’s IT team can do this with your hosting provider. Otherwise, contact your hosting provider for help adding the CNAME Record. Using the subdomain example above, the DNS record will look like this
Name | Type | Value |
---|---|---|
forms.example.com | CNAME | company.jotform.com |
Contacting the Enterprise Support Team
You should contact the Enterprise Support Team after configuring the DNS record so they can fully set up the custom domain and have it ready for your AI Agents. You must contact the Enterprise Support Team as an administrator. Let’s do it!
- On your Jotform Enterprise server, click on your Profile Picture/Avatar on the top-right side of the page.
- In the menu that opens, click on Admin Console.
- On the Admin Console page, click on Support in the menu on the left, and then click on Submit a Request in the Need help? section.
- Now, enter the details of your request in the Submit a Request window that opens and click on Submit Request at the bottom.
Your ticket has been created and displayed under the request table at the bottom of the Support page.
Copying the AI Agent URL with the Custom Domain
When the Enterprise Support Team replies and confirms that your server’s now white-labeled, you can move forward with editing your AI Agents and publishing them with the custom domain as the base URL. Here’s how to do it:
- In Jotform Enterprise AI Agent Builder, in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- Now, click on Copy Link in the Quick Share menu on the left side of the page.
That’s it. You now have your AI Agent URL with the custom domain.
