We would like to highlight and bring your attention the findings by BUSINESS OFFICE STAFF team on the below elements in the close patient records audit for the Q2/2024. While we strive to maintain the highest standards of documentation and patient care, it is important to address instance of non-compliance with certain elements of the clinical chart. Below is the report.
• Analysis:
- The most significant drop is seen in the first category, "Patient registration and next of kin information is completed," where compliance plummeted from 89% in Q1 to 48% in Q2, a drastic 41% decrease.
- The other two categories also saw reductions in compliance, though to a lesser extent:
- The "Privacy policy and General Consent form is completed" category dropped by 4%.
- The "Copy of Patient NRIC / Passport is available" category dropped by 8%.
