Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário

    Boa tarde,

Estou com este formulário, já preparado e com todas as funções preparadas:

    https://form.jotform.com/242064811848661

Porém, preciso fazer que os campos que existem nele possam preencher este formulário existente:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JMRtesn_IJOoE-khWNUWElIK_Mtg8ajw/view?usp=sharing

    Hi abiarbmkt,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Portuguese Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Portuguese, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, to my understanding you want to convert this PDF into a Smart PDF Form. And you want the fields in this PDF to be converted automatically with form fields in Jotform. Is that right? Unfortunately, Smart PDF Forms will not always detect the fields you used in the original PDF and you have to manually add them. If this is not what you're referring to, can you explain more about what you want to happen?

After we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

Okay, sorry. I can write in English for better understanding.

To clarify, we are a business association and we currently collect membership forms by sending the editable PDF by email. However, we are trying to optimize the process by using JotForm.

Currently: the member receives the proposal with the membership form, fills it out and sends it back to us. And then, we close the deal.

The proposal for using Jotform would be: instead of sending the form, we would send the Jotform link that would fill out the form automatically, and depending on the category that was put on the form, the member would be able to receive the proposal with the value without us having to send it separately.

I managed to create the entire form with all the conditionals (in the first link). But I don't know how to make the answers be used to fill out the PDF of the form that already exists (second link). Is there a way to implement the PDF in the document that is generated at the end of the form, with an upload or something like that?

If I try to create the smart pdf form, do I need to completely recreate the form with all the existing conditionals or is there a way to "import" what was configured (such as questions, conditionals and response emails) into the smart pdf?

I managed to find a way to add my original PDF to the form. However, I need to manually add where I need the form responses to be added to the PDF file. How can I do this? When I try to edit the original PDF to map the fields, it doesn't open the configuration option. Is there an alternative to this? Or does this option not meet what I'm looking for (which I described earlier) and I need to try another way?

    Hi abiart,

You can still use your first form where you already set up the conditions. But since Smart PDF Form doesn't support Multi-line Question element, you need to manually add the basic fields, like the Full Name, Email and Short Text fields. And if you want each section to be on the same page, I suggest using the Classic Form Layout and add a Page Break after each section. Let me walk you through this.

    1. In Smart PDF Forms Builder, click on the Paint Roller icon.
    2. Click on Layout on the upper right side of the page and select Classic Form. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 1 Screenshot 100
    3. Click on the Trash Can icon of the message: MULTI-LINE element is not available for this form layout. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 2 Screenshot 111
    4. Click on Add Element on the left side of the page, select the necessary fields and map it with your original PDF. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 3 Screenshot 122

Smart PDF Form also doesn't support the Configurable List widget. I suggest using the Input Table. Let's do this:

    1. In Smart PDF Forms Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    2. From the Basic tab, scroll down your mouse to the bottom and select Input Table. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 4 Screenshot 133
    3. Click on the Gear icon of the Input Table and from the Fields Tab, select Text Box as the Input Type.
    4. Enter the numbers from in Rows.
    5. Enter Name, Departamento and Email in Columns. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 5 Screenshot 144
    6. Map it with the tables in your original PDF. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 6 Screenshot 155

    Here's how it looks like:

You can now add a Page Break after each section. Let me show you how to do this:

    1. In Smart PDF Forms Builder, place the cursor of your mouse at the end of each section.
    2. Click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    3. Scroll down your mouse to the bottom and select Page Break. Como aplicar o formulário PDF inteligente no meu primeiro formulário Image 8 Screenshot 177

    Hello!

It works, and I did some tests to adapt your instructions for the way we intend to use the form. Thank you!

But there is another question: we had some conditions to show or hide questions and informations. One of those are the informations about price, and it is conditional to one of the questions (number of employees). In the middle of form, we intend to show the paragraph with the right cost to the select number.

How can we put this information into the pdf file (the original, and/or the pdf made by the jotform itself)? We can create some role to put only the information selected in pdf?

    Thanks!
